IFirst off, hello again, how are you guys. Good? I'm good. I had just recently watched Mary and Max - actually I just finished 30 minutes ago. I have much to say about that movie...
Beginning my journey of watching the movie started like this:
Bored and alone my little mind decided to download a movie off of Utorrent. I googled and googled, searching for a movie worth my watching, and I cam across one that had very good views for some of the worlds harshest critics, Rotten Tomatoes.
I rented it with anticipation building up inside my very soul of Siobhaness. Clicking 'play' I did not know what I was getting myself in to. At first the movie seemed cute, although you could tell it was a little bizarre. It's a clay-mation, and those are usually a little weird, but this... I just can't comprehend...
An 8 year old, Mary, had a hard life with no friends, so she decides to choose a random person from the phone book to write to - Max. Max is a weird man with a disease I don't remember.
The two become best friends and plan on meeting each other though Max is 44. Can I just say that the movie is not like THAT! They don't even need to explain themselves, you can tell Max isn't a rapist.. Well actually you can't, but it is a kids movie so shut up.
The two friends write each other for 22 years! I don't know how to explain how the movie is weird. Being baffled does not please me, so I just suggest to watch the movie to understand exactly why I cannot express my emotions on with movie.
